What is the connection mode of current transformer and voltage transformer.

I. Connection method of current transformers

In a single-phase loop, there is only one loop, so a current transformer can measure the current in the loop. This is the method used in the loop of our actual electric lamp. In the three-phase three-wire electrical circuit, because there is no load between the phase line and the neutral line, two current transformers can be connected into a V-shaped connection, and two ammeters can be connected to measure the current. In this connection method, two ammeters are connected to a common wire in the quadratic diagram. In order to save equipment and simplify wiring, a current transformer connected to an ammeter can also be used for reference when the three-phase load is basically balanced. At the same time, in the three-phase three-wire circuit, sometimes three current transformers are used to connect the angular wiring, respectively to measure the three-phase current. In the three-phase four-wire power supply system, three current transformers should be installed to supply the ammeter respectively, and the connection mode can be star connection.

II. Connection mode of the voltage transformer

The wiring method of voltage transformer is only one loop in single-phase loop. Only one single-phase voltage transformer connects the primary coil to the high-voltage power line and the low-voltage coil (secondary coil) to the voltmeter terminal.

In the three-phase circuit, in order to install the watt-hour meter, power meter, ammeter, etc., to observe the three-phase voltage, three-phase voltage transformers can be used or three single-phase voltage transformers can be combined together to form star or Angle wiring. Sometimes two voltage transformers are connected into a V-shaped wire to measure the three-phase voltage
